- Runners must report at the Kuruthang Taxi Parking (In front of the Punakha Multi Sports Complex): 5:30 AM
- Race starts at 8:00 AM
Half Marathon: Saturday, March 7, 2020, 8:00 AM
- Finish line and parking at Punakha Dzong
- The Half Marathon course is the second half of the marathon course.
- National Registration Fee: Nu. 1,000/-
- International Registration Fee: US$ 125/-
- Runners must report at the Khuruthang Taxi Parking (In front of the Punakha Multi Sports Complex): 6:00 am
- Race starts at 8:00 AM

- Festive race start with officials from the Gasa and Punakha Dzongkhag
- Transportation from the finish line at the Dzong to the start of the race
- Transport of any personal items from the start line to the finish line

Event Week Itinerary
Friday, March 6, 2020 – 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM.
Packet Pick Up and race check-in inside THE NEW MULTI-SPORTS HALL in Khuruthang (ABOVE TAXI PARKING). PLEASE BRING A PICTURE ID TO CHECK IN. You will receive your race number at this time which will need to be pinned to the front of your running shirt. If you have not yet paid your registration fee, you can do so at the BOC office PRIOR to the event, or at the Packet Pick Up.
Friday, March 6, 2020 – 2:00 PM.
Our mandatory pre-race briefing will be right after Packet Pick Up on Friday, March 6, at 2:00 PM, also inside THE NEW MULTI-SPORTS HALL in Khuruthang (ABOVE TAXI PARKING).
Saturday, March 7, 2020
Full Marathon runners must report to the KHURUTHANG TAXI PARKING and be on the bus by 5:30 AM on race morning in order to catch the bus to the start line of your event.
Half Marathon runners must report to the KHURUTHANG TAXI PARKING and be on the bus by 6:00 AM on race morning in order to catch the bus to the start line of your event.
8:00 AM. Full Marathon Race Start.
8:00 AM. Half Marathon Race Start.
1:30 PM. All runners must reach the 4th read-point Pho Chhu suspension bridge.
3:00 PM. Race cutoff time at finish line.
5:00 PM. Awards Celebration at Thangzor, Punakha.
